Filmmaking and storytelling have always been at the heart of Vue Networks. Our CEO Jonathan is considered among the second wave of Singaporean filmmakers, contributing to the revival of local Singapore cinema in the 1990s.

Our cinematic heritage includes the production of nine feature films and a pioneering role in international film co-productions across Asia and Europe, with productions spanning Vietnam, Indonesia, Italy, and France.

Our films have received international recognition and numerous awards, including Best Feature Film at the 2002 Milano Film Festival for Song of the Stork (2002). Another notable production, the award-winning Vietnamese feature Floating Lives (2010), achieved critical acclaim, international festival recognition including receiving the Silver Kite Award at Vietnam's Golden Kite Awards.

The 20th anniversary of our first feature film, The Teenage Textbook Movie, was marked by a special cast and crew reunion screening at The Cathay. The film was digitally restored in Portugal to 4K through the efforts of the Asian Film Archive and the Singapore Film Commission, before returning to cinemas as part of the Singapore Film Commission's own 20th anniversary celebrations.

More than two decades after its original release, The Teenage Textbook Movie continues to reach new audiences through digital platforms and international distribution. The film has since been made available on Netflix in HD and 4K, featured as in-flight entertainment on Singapore Airlines, and distributed on pay television in Japan and South Korea, extending the legacy of this beloved Singapore film to audiences around the world.

Vue Networks brings events to life through professional live streaming and multi-camera production, connecting audiences across locations and digital platforms. From conferences and corporate events to performances and community celebrations, we combine broadcast expertise with advanced streaming technologies to deliver engaging, high-quality live experiences.

Beyond production, we are committed to making digital media more inclusive. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, we partnered with Loving Heart Multi-Service Centre to train seniors in digital media production and equip them with practical skills to participate as production crew in live events. By creating micro-job opportunities and deploying seniors in actual productions, we promote lifelong learning, active ageing, and meaningful participation in the digital economy.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Vue Networks sponsored the Alzheimer's Disease Association (now Dementia Singapore) Memories Café initiative by live streaming musical and sing-along sessions to seniors who were isolated at home.

Going beyond conventional video streaming, we pioneered the use of live VR360 streaming, allowing seniors to experience performances in an immersive environment, creating the feeling of being physically present alongside the performers. This innovative approach helped bridge physical distances, foster social connection, and bring joy and companionship to seniors during a challenging period. The initiative reflects our commitment to using emerging technologies to promote digital inclusion, community engagement, and the wellbeing of older adults.
